Postcard of Museum Building

It must have seemed like a good idea at the time. Put your museum of antique Americana along US Highway 27 in Dundee, Florida -- right on the road between Cypress Gardens and Walt Disney World.

Except tourists didn't always make it to Cypress Gardens. They rarely made it south of Walt Disney World at all, and when they did head for Cypress Gardens they spent their day in the park with no time for this small roadside attraction.

It didn't take long for USA of Yesterday to revert to industrial property. It always had looked like a warehouse, anyway.
